LIUtilities have been kind enough to let me write a review of their latest software SpeedUp MyPC. As the name suggests this software is keyed towards optimizing your system for maximum performance. The software is reasonably priced at just $29.95 and if the box is anything to go by this software looks well designed.

LIUtilities was founded in 1999 making the company fairly new to software development, so lets take a look at the software and see if it lives up to its claims...
- Free Up Valuable system Resources
- Optimize Your Internet Connection
- Maximize Performance
- Avoid Crashes
There is always room to maximize performance in an operating system, even under windows XP. I would have thought avoiding crashes is a less useful feature for xp/2000 users - crashes have been dramatically reduced since Windows 98. However if you still use 98 then this software might be just for you. The newer operating systems also make better use of system resources and so you’re likely to notice most improvement when using this software on older computers.
Minimum Requirements
- 400 MHZ Intel or AMD processor
- 16 MB RAM
- 2 x CD-ROM drive
- Windows 98/2000/XP
- 2 MB Disk space
Read on for look at the software’s features. |
